Garreta, formerly Poblacion, is a barangay in the municipality of Badoc, in the province of Ilocos Norte. Its population as determined by the 2015 Census was 1,376. This represented 4.35% of the total population of Badoc. Population by age group - According to the 2015 Census, the age group with the highest population in Garreta is 15 to 19, with 138 individuals. Conversely, the age group with the lowest population is 80 and over, with 23 individuals. Historical population - The population of Garreta grew from 1,261 in 1990 to 1,376 in 2015, an increase of 115 people. The latest census figures in 2015 denote a positive growth rate of 0.46%, or an increase of 33 people, from the previous population of 1,343 in 2010.
